Okanagan sparkling wines remind us of special celebrations, hot tubbing in winter, winning, that romance isn’t dead and life is for living. What a better way to enjoy the Okanagan sun and scenery, than tasting delicious traditional method bubbles with morsels of the finest ingredients.
Though it is against wine rules to call what we produce in the Okanagan “Champagne” (because it isn’t grown in the Champagne region of France), many producers follow the traditional methods of the French region and produce incredible vintages locally. Compared to their French counterparts, many sparkling wines in the Okanagan are dramatically cheaper, despite the arduous process and labour intensive management that traditional method sparkling wine requires, making Okanagan bubbles the most undervalued wines in the Okanagan Valley.
